Onboarding Guide

Everything you need to log in, set up your profile, and get the most from your connexU event experience.

What You Need to Get Started

To access the connexU event platform, you'll need to claim your account by creating a password. This requires your Badge ID or Registration ID, which you'll find in the welcome email we sent you.

Before you begin

Make sure you have the welcome email from connexU handy — it contains your temporary login code and the direct link to the platform.

How to Log In for the First Time

Follow these steps to access the platform for the first time:

Open your welcome email Look for the email from connexU with your login details and platform link.

Find your Badge ID or Registration ID This is your temporary login code — it's included in the email.

Click the login link On desktop, go to connexU Events to open the platform in your browser. On mobile, download the connexU Events app from the App Store or Google Play.

Select "Login" Enter the email address you registered with for the event.

Enter your Badge ID / Registration ID Type in the temporary code from your welcome email.

Create your password Choose a secure password, confirm it, and click Create AccountThat's it, you're in!

Complete the Onboarding Process

Once you've logged in for the first time, you'll be guided through a short onboarding flow. This personalises your profile and ensures you get the most relevant networking recommendations and event content.

Simply follow the on-screen prompts — it only takes a couple of minutes.

Tip

Make sure you set your contact details to be visible to Connections during onboarding.

Updating Your Profile

You can update your profile at any time after completing onboarding. Keeping it current helps maximise your visibility and ensures relevant networking suggestions.

Desktop

  1. Navigate to your profile
  2. Click Edit Profile
  3. Make your changes
  4. Click Update to save

Mobile App

  1. Tap More in the navigation
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Make your changes
  4. Tap Save to apply
Important

Contact details such as email and phone number can only be edited on the desktop version of the platform. Keeping your profile up to date increases your visibility and ensures you receive relevant networking recommendations.
