Post-Event Guide

Exporting Your
Leads & Contacts

How to download your meetings and connections data from the event platform for post-event follow-ups.

1

Before You Start

The event platform lets you export your meeting history and connections list as a spreadsheet (XLSX or CSV) - perfect for importing into your CRM or building your post-event follow-up list.

Desktop only

Exports are only available on the desktop web version of the platform. The export feature is not available in the mobile app or mobile browser. If you're on a mobile device, switch to a laptop or desktop browser to complete your export.

Tip

Export your data as soon as possible after the event while connections and meetings are still fresh. You can use the exported files to populate your CRM or build targeted follow-up lists.

2

Exporting Your Meetings

The meetings export gives you a complete list of all your confirmed meetings from the event. Each row in the file corresponds to a meeting participant.

How to export

1
Open your profile menu Log in to the desktop web platform and click your profile image in the top-right corner.
2
Navigate to Export From the left-hand navigation menu, select Export.
3
Choose your format Under the Meetings Export section, select Export XLSX (for Excel) or Export CSV.
4

Exporting Your Connections

The connections export gives you a list of everyone you connected with during the event. A connection is created when you:

Scheduled or held a meeting with someone

Scanned someone's badge (or they scanned yours)

Had mutual interest - both parties used the Connect / Show Interest button

How to export

1
Open your profile menu Log in to the desktop web platform and click your profile image in the top-right corner.
2
Navigate to Export From the left-hand navigation menu, select Export.
3
Choose your format Under the Connections Export section, select Export XLSX or Export CSV.
4
Download and open Click Download once the file is ready, then open it to review your connections data.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about exporting your event data.

Q Where is the contact information for my connections?
Contact details (email or phone) are only shared if the connection has allowed it in their privacy settings. This is in line with GDPR requirements.
Q Can I export my meetings to my personal calendar?
When a meeting request is confirmed, you'll receive an email with an option to add it to your calendar. You can also enable Calendar Sync in the platform to automatically sync all your meetings.
Q I scanned someone's badge, but they don't appear in my connections export.
If either party removed the connection after the badge scan, it won't appear in the export.
Q I can't see the Export section or one of the export options.
Some export features may not be enabled for every event. If you believe this is a mistake, contact connexU at [email protected] with the full name of your event and we'll check which options are available.
Q Can I export the full attendee list?
No - only your own meetings and connections can be exported. To capture contact data, connect with participants during the event through the platform (meetings, badge scans, or mutual interest), then export your connections afterwards.
Q There's someone in my connections I don't recognise.
Connections persist across events. If you connected with someone at a previous connexU event and they're attending the current one, they'll still appear in your connections list.
